Emilia Dubicki

Emilia’s work is based on nature and capturing the essence of place: moods, moments, colors, structures and how to transcend beyond these elements. The paintings are about the connection of the outside world with the personal inside world of the spirit, the visible joining with the internal landscape. They are also about seeing what results from the simple pleasure of painting. Her primary mediums are oil and acrylic on canvas, but she also works on wood and paper with pastel, collage and watercolor. The work ranges in size from large to smaller dimensions. Scale is an area of interest. In addition to being represented by the Kehler Liddell Gallery, Emilia shows elsewhere in Connecticut, New York, Salt Lake City, Boston, and is represented by the Julie Heller Gallery in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She has been granted residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, N.M. Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections.
